SOUTH BEND- Richard Piraccini better known as (Murphy or Pizza) passed away in his home Thursday unexpectedly. Richard was born to Alsvero and Mildred (White) Piraccini in Mishawaka. Richard was very proud to have served in the U.S. NAVY and had great admiration for all of the armed forces. He was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Bears football fan. Richard was a simple man but family was very important to him especially his niece/goddaughter Stephanie and great nephews Scott and J.D. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, brother A.J. and sister Ginny Piraccini, and his brother-in-law Robert McDonald. He is survived by his sisters JoAnn Neely, Sally McDonald, Marie Piraccini (Jim Tucker), and several nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service with full military honors at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola, IN. Tuesday June 7, 2016 at 1:30pm with Pastor Bob Vale officiating.
