Richard L. White, age 80, of Elkhart passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. Richard was born May 23, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Jesse L. and Ruth R. (Grant) White. On September 6, 1983, he married Josephine Leodanski in South Bend, Indiana. They recently celebrated 31 years of marriage.
Survivors include his wife Josephine of Elkhart, son, Steven White of Illinois, and step-children Richard Leodanski of South Bend, Cynthia (Joseph) Davis, Susan Leodanski, both of Mishawaka, and Gale Myers of South Bend. Richard is also survived by his grandchildren Brianna and Austin White, both of Illinois, and step-grandchildren Justin Tang of South Bend, Amanda Leodanski of Mishawaka, and Joshua Davis of Florida. Surviving as well are his step-great-grandchildren Kyler Tang of Ft. Wayne and Tyler Davis of Florida.
There will be no visitation or services. Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola is handling arrangements. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Richard loved watching western movies, and professional wrestling.
