Robert G. Choquette, 82, of Mishawaka, passed away at home on July 18, 2023.  He was born on February 2, 1941 in Mishawaka, IN to George and Gladys (Farrell) Choquette.  He married Malinda Calvin in Mishawaka on October 15, 1966.

He is survived by his wife, Malinda; his son, Joseph Choquette; his daughter, Angela (Patrick) Ruff; grandchildren: Alicia (Ty) Taylor, Adam (Elizabeth) Ruff, Shelby (Nate) Choquette and Marshall Choquette; great-grandchildren: Neveah, Evelyn, Brayden, Arielle, Kai, Nolan, Isla, Blakely, Koa and Oliver; and a sister, Barbara Albers.

He was preceded in death by a brother, George Choquette, and a sister, Janice Reith.

Robert was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church.  He retired from AM General in 2007. He played golf and tennis and enjoyed walking the trails in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren, and he was a wonderful father-in-law.  He loved his dog, Sandy, who was his playful companion and gave him lots of kisses- and made sure his fingers were clean after every meal!

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM Monday July 24, 2023 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.

A Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday morning at 10 AM at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 222 W. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545.  Fr. Jason Freiburger will officiate.  Burial will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or ProMedica Hospice .
