Robert "Bob" Dale Makin, Sr. 60, of South Bend, IN passed away on April 10, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 15, 1960 to the late Norman "Jim" and Elizabeth "Betty" (Stark) Makin in Johnstown, PA. He married Billie Lynne (Baer) Makin on July 10, 1982. He was a founding member of the Cruisin' Car Club. He enjoyed time with family and his 1963 Chevy Impala. He had a great sense of humor and loved music.  He is survived by his loving wife Billie; his 2 sons Robert Makin Jr. and Michael Makin; his brother Eric (Mary) Makin; 4 sisters Joanne (Mark) McCleestor, Nellie Updegraff, Judy Shrader and Nancy Gilchrist; sister in law Kathy Guthrie; in laws Roselma and Glenn Cramer; 5 grandchildren Charity, Melody, Robert III, Ben and Remi; a great grand daughter Mariah. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Norman Jr., Bill and Randy Makin; his sister Donna Kline. Services for Bob will be held on Thursday April 15, 2021 at 2PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. Friends may visit from 12PM until time of service. Private burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ronald Drake to preside.
