Robert John Ebbole, 87, of Elkhart, entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2022. He was born on January 29, 1934 in Chicago, IL to the late Bridget and Giachino Ebbole.

He owned two Perkins Family Restaurants and Bakeries. Robert owned the location in Elkhart for 47 years and the South Bend location for 26 years. He touched many lives through his restaurants and was known for always giving good advice to those around him. Robert loved to travel with his wife of 65 years. He proudly served in the Navy for 12 years. Robert loved to start businesses and always had a vision in mind. He was a member of Kiwanis International for many years. Robert was a family man and loved being around his grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Anthony Ebbole; and great grandson, Garren Trovatore.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. (Serritella) Ebbole; children, David (Lynn) Ebbole, Karen (Kenneth) Vargo, Daniel (Heather) Ebbole, Douglas (Susan) Ebbole, and Julie Schult; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the funeral in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
