Robert Lewis 'Bob' Hegel, Sr., 49, of Mishawaka, passed away at 8:00 am, Monday, December 20, 2010. On November 1, 1961,he was born to John and Sandra (Hill) Hegel. The son of John and Carole, Sandra and Charlie. Bob is survived by three children, Crystal Hegel of Coldwater, MI, Christina Hegel of Mishawaka, and Robert Hegel, Jr. of Mishawaka and one grandson, Joshua. He is also survived by his father, John (Carole Haas) Hegel of Sussex, NJ, a brother, David Hegel of LaVeen, AZ, and a sister, Jackie McKibbin of Prescott Valley, AZ. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Decker, step father, Charlie Decker and brother, Bill Hegel. Bob worked for Basney Honda and had an enormous network of friends that loved him. He was able to bring a smile to your face and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, December 27, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, with two hours of visitation prior to the service.
