Robert Merencsics of Edwardsburg, Michigan passed away in his residence on June 2nd, 2023 at the age of 84.  Robert preferred to go by Bob or Bobby.  He was a man of faith who loved God.  Bob served in the army and loved to share stories from that time.  He enjoyed golfing, cooking, and going to the gym and spa.  He grew grapes and was very proud of them.  Bob was devoted to his family, always took care of his loved ones and never complained.  He was preceded in death by his wife Maris Merencsics, his mother Margaret Merencsics, his father Stephen Merencsics and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is survived by his daughters Kayley Merencsics Grantz (Michael) and Marisa Rivers, and his son Brent Futrell.  He is also survived by grandchildren Brent Futrell, Jamey Futrell, Robert Rivers, Ryan Rivers, Catalina Grantz, and Carolyn Grantz, as well as four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561 on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
