Robert A. Neff, 78, of Elkhart, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.  He was born in Goshen on September 22, 1939 to Frank M. and Ethel I. (Coy) Neff.  Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1962-1964.  He worked in manufacturing at Robert Weed Plywood until his retirement and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  Robert is survived by his brother, Ken (Crystal) Neff; his sisters, Janet (Rohm) Hollingsworth, Phyllis (Jesse) Wedding, Carolyn (George) Madison, Ruth (James Chaney) Neff, and Gloria Neff; his significant other, Pat Twitchell; and a granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, S. Michael Neff; his sister, Alice Alexander; and a brother, Marion Neff.  Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN   46561.  A funeral service in Robert's honor will be on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10 AM at the funeral home with calling one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
