Robert D. Richter, Sr.,  68, of Mishawaka, passed away on November 28, 2020 at home.  He was born on January 27, 1952 in Mishawaka to William and Ethel (Green) Richter.  He married Rebecca Boler on June 14, 1985.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; a son, Robert (Nicole Swartz) Richter, Jr.; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Dean (Chris) Richter; and 4 nieces: Erica (Jimi) Sholty, Sherri (Tina) Richter, Nita (Mark) Minix and Kati (Michael) Goodspeed.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William Richter, Jr.

Robert was a member of Gospel Center Missionary Church. He retired from service work at Notre Dame.

A Funeral Service in his honor will be on Thursday December 3, 2020 at 2 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.  Pastors Jim Bayer and John Ranous will officiate.  Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
