Robert J. Simpson, age 83, of Mishawaka, IN passed away January 11, 2023. Born April 5, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Margaret (Stombaugh) Simpson, he was a life resident of the area. Having worked in the manufacturing industry for years, he was also a proud US Army veteran. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, spouse Marlene (Hyder) Simpson, brother Richard Simpson and sister Ardith Terry. Surviving family members include sons: Keith, Brett, Todd and Jeff Simpson, sisters: Nancy Geist, Sally Mattasits and Kathryn Kinney along with several grandchildren. Services will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561 on Tuesday January 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm. A short visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
