Obituary

Robert Dale "Bob" Wisser, 61, of Mishawaka, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2010, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Bob was born in South Bend to the union of William and Marion (Bowers) Wisser.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Wisser, and his grandmother, Hazel Carlson. Bob is survived by his mother, Marion Wisser of Mishawaka, his daughter Andrea Teeter of Osceola, and three grandchildren, Taylor Teeter, Morgan Teeter and Payton Teeter, all of Osceola, and by his brother, William Wisser and his family, of Granger.
Bob grew up in Osceola, graduating from Penn High School in 1967, and lived in this area his entire life. He had worked as an electrician as well as a bartender. He also was a proud member of the Mishawaka Moose Lodge #1262.
He had many early interests including bowling, music, and playing drums in a band. He played drums in many bands throughout his career, and his classic rendition of "Wipe Out" was truly a drummer''s work of art. Bob also enjoyed Notre Dame Football, the Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Cubs baseball games.
Bob loved to laugh, and he made everyone laugh too with his fun sense of humor. A kind and generous man, he loved his mother, daughter, and grandkids more than words can express. His daughter was his strength and is his legacy. A life well lived is truly being loved by those who are important to usand he was.
There will be no formal funeral services upon his request. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mishawaka Moose Lodge #1262, 603 E. Madison St., Mishawaka on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 4:00 pm. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
