Roger Gale Sparks, 77, of Elkhart, passed away on Feb. 14, 2022 in Mishawaka.  He was born on August 4, 1944 in West Virginia to William R. and Pauline J. (Stevens) Sparks.  He married Brenda Lee Meyer on March 19, 1977.

Roger is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee Sparks; his children: Kelly Jo(Ben Mikel) Sparks and Tony Sparks ; 7 grandchildren; brother, William sparks; sisters Madonna Long, Jean Lamb and Belita  Hardesty.

Mr. Sparks graduated from Cedar Grove High School in West Virginia.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army.  He moved to the area in 1969.  Roger the owner of Sparky's Machine Repair.  He repaired industrial machines as far away as Puerto Rico.  He enjoyed fishing and working outdoors.  His family admired his green thumb.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 PM on Sunday Feb. 20, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Osceola, IN 46561

A funeral service in his honor will be at 10 AM Monday Feb. 21, 2022 at the funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions in his honor may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
