Roger Dale Stogsdill 70, of Peru and form erly of Granger passed away on February 2, 2021 in Vienna, MO. The S outh Bend native was born on December 2, 1950 to the late Homer and Lucille (Hopper) Stogsdill and attended Clay High Sc hool. Roge r started his career at Whi te Farm Equipment then continued on to own and operate R.S. Construction while serv ing as a volunteer firefighter at Harris Township Fire Dept . and before retiring he was head of M aintenance at Holy Cross . Roger used his construction knowledge to buy, renovate, and rent many ren tal properties in the Mishawaka area . His passion was racing S tock C ars at South Bend Motor Speed way , building Hot Rods , collecting coins, hunting , bowling, and spending time with his wife and family. He dedicated over 17 years of his life to being a caregiver to his wife , the love of his l ife, Shari.

He is survived by his 2 daughters Ang ela (Ryan) Betzner of Vienna , MO and Amy Lynn (Bill) Hayden of Jensen Beac h, F L ; 3 grandchildren Kirstin Jacobs, Ross and Eli Betzner ; his brother Homer (Judy) Stogsdill Jr.; his sister Norma Swanson; and his best friends Steve & Carla Hartz including son s Rob Lind & Eryn Hartz ; also nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shari S togsdill (Karaszewski) , Mother -in -law Patricia Karaszews ki; brother Ralph S t ogsdill and sister Connie Warner .

Friends of Roger may visit on Wednes day February 10, 2021 from 5 PM-8PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561 . A Private Servic e for Roger will be held on Thursday February 11, 2021 at 10AM a nd Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memory Garden in Osceola, IN.
