Rolland "Dean" Raley, age 77 of Osceola, Indiana passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Dean was born on October 31, 1932 in Jasonville, Indiana to the late Floyd and Nellie (Hoopengarner) Raley.
Surviving is his children, Bill (Kim) Raley of Shipshewana, Ron (Dee) Johnson of Elkhart, Virginia Peli of Mishawaka, Diane Raley and Vickie Raley, both of Florida. He is also survived by his daughter in law, Sherry Raley, 11 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Dave Raley.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday July 28, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 29, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Dean was employed for many years with Selmer Instruments in the maintenance department before his retirement. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
