Ronald W. Mohr, 61, of Elkhart died Tuesday April 29, 2014 at home. The Celina, Ohio native was born September 17, 1952 to Louis F. and Lurline Mae (Frommel) Mohr, both of whom preceded Ron in death. He was a US Navy veteran and on December 20, 1975 he married Anna L. Troyer in Elkhart. Ron was retired and attended Hively Avenue Mennonite Church. He enjoyed woodworking, especially with fretwork clocks and was an avid Indy Car fan. In addition to his mother and father, Ron was also preceded in death by his brothers, Vern & Bruce Mohr. Ron is survived by his wife of 39 years, Annie Mohr of Elkhart; his son, Michael (Carrie) Mohr of Elkhart; his daughter, Marlene (Joel) Marks of Elkhart; grandchildren, Isabella Mohr, Reid Marks, Owen Marks and Liam Marks; brothers, Josh Mohr in Ohio, Rock (Sally) Mohr of Elkhart and his sister, Sheryl (Junior) Black of Elkhart. Funeral Services 11:00 Saturday May 3, 2014 in Hively Avenue Mennonite Church, 800 E. Hively Ave. Elkhart. with a luncheon reception immediately following services.
