Rose M. Cowley, age 68, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Mishawaka, Indiana. Rose was born November 16, 1941 to the late George and Leone (Ross) Wyse. On April 11, 1974, she married Orville Cowley. He preceded her in death, passing away in 1994.
Surviving are her children, Steve (Paula) Corbin, Norman (Kimberly) Corbin Jr., Dwight Cowley, and Cindy (John) Garcia, all of Elkhart. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Rose is survived as well by her siblings, Robert Wyse of Indianapolis, Indiana and Ruth Frauenknecht of Waynesville, Ohio.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 3:00 pm Memorial Service, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Salvation Army on Main Street in Elkhart. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Indiana is handling arrangements. In her memory, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
Rose was a homemaker, and was deeply dedicated to her family
