Rosemary Giles, 85, of Mishawaka, died Thursday November 10, 2016. The South Bend native was born March 16, 1931 to Joseph M. & Goldie (Wileman) Ray. Rosemary had retired from the commercial sewing industry and enjoyed the time spent with her family & friends; she especially liked working puzzles and exploring garage sales. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her son, Dennis Martin; grandson, Dustin Lee Samples; sisters, Lela Lisi & Violet Ray and brothers, John Ray & Joseph Ray, Jr. Rosemary is survived by her children, Cindy A. (Dennis) Samples of Mishawaka, Kathy Baker & Earl C. Giles, Jr. both of Palm Bay FL; grandchildren, Gregory E. (Jodie) Samples of Mishawaka and Denise L. (Brandon) Bromley of Bessemer MI; great-grandchildren, Emma Eileen Samples and Ivy Rose Bromley; her sisters, Louella Reidenbach of Valparaiso, Phyllis Hendrickson of Mishawaka and Shirley Labadie, Erma Berridge & Virginia DeGraff, all of South Bend, and her brother, James Ray of Mishawaka. Funeral Services 2:00 Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Monday 4-8pm in the funeral home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
