Roy F. Denniston, Jr., 94, of Mishawaka, passed away on Sept. 21, 2022 at home.  He was born on Jan. 5, 1928 in South Bend, IN to Roy F. and Alverda Mable (Marsh) Denniston, Sr.  He married Mary Katherine  on April 14, 1949.  She preceded him in death on Jan. 6, 2012.

He is survived by his sons, Ron (Jennifer) Denniston and Rod Denniston, and his grandchildren, Angela and Shawn Denniston.

In addition to his wife, Roy was preceded in death by a sister, Louise.

Roy graduated from Central High School; he served his country in the Army; Roy was the owner of Bungalow Pie Shop, as well as a Real Estate Agent.  He was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend Masonic Temple, where he was a 33 Degree Honorary Member of the Supreme Council.  He was also a member of the Royal Order of Jester's.  He was past president of the St. Joseph County Sheriff's posse; he was a member of 4 Lake Country Club.

He enjoyed golf, travel and boating.

A funeral service in his honor will be on Friday Sept. 30, 2022 at 1 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy. Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit with the family for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be given to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
