Mishawaka - Russell Buck, 67, passed away peacefully with this loving family beside him at The Center For Hospice, Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN on Monday, October 14th, 2024 after brief period of declining health.

Russell was born on July 10, 1957, in Mishawaka, IN to the late Thomas Eugene and Janice (Yaw) Buck.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Russell served his community at Peerless Midwest Well Drilling for 29 years and retired from Walmart in 2019. He was a graduate of Penn High School, class of 1975. He was an avid musician playing the guitar and many other instruments. He loved to play golf, enjoyed cookouts and family gatherings, and camping. Some of his favorite pastimes included NASCAR races, Notre Dame football, Chicago Bears and F1 formula cars.

Russell is survived by his children, Danielle Buck and fiancé Jeff Watts of La Porte, Jeremy Buck and his wife Kera of Mishawaka, Dawn Jones and her husband James, of Plymouth, a brother, Lee Buck and his wife Donna of Tavares, Florida, a sister, Kimberly Roach and husband, Randy of Koontz Lake, Indiana, grandchildren Amanda Hawkins and husband Dominic of Plymouth, Autumn Gildner and husband Zachary of Plymouth, Landen, Malia, Aria, Ethan, Maddy and PJ, Great grandchildren Highland, Bishop, Desmond and Joshua, And numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18th, 2024, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, IN.

The funeral service will be on Friday, October 18th, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, IN.

The family will have private committal services.
