Ruth D. Masteller, 83, of Mishawaka, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

The Monticello native was born April 29, 1934 to Ernest and Gertrude (Templeton) Benjamin, who have both preceded her in death.

On December 26, 1954, Ruth married Bill Masteller, who survives.

Ruth attended the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka and was active in the United Methodist Women''s groups for many years. She was active in Bridge club, and enjoyed square dancing, round and ballroom dancing. She loved to cook and sew for her family.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill; her children, Susan (John) Robertson, Ron (Sue) Masteller, and Steven Masteller; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dale Benjamin.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2-4 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561.

A funeral service in Ruth's honor will be on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10 AM.
