Ruth M. Johnson, 91, of Mishawaka died Friday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. The Greentown native was born January 30, 1921 to Clarence & Mary Gladys (McClain) Dunlap. Ruth was a member of the Class of 1939 at Greentown High School. On May 31, 1952 she married Robert Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1973. She was a member of Cedar Road Missionary Church. Ruth was a homemaker and mother, but returned to work after the death of her husband, first at Strauss Bakery and then assisting in the kitchen at Bethel College for many years. In addition to her husband, Ruth was also preceded in death by an infant son, Calvin as well as her sisters, Mildred Hoover, Eleanora Alexander, Dorothy Stevens and Virginia Floyd. Ruth''s survivors include her sons, Richard (Michelle) Bradford of Fort Wayne, Phillip (Barbara) Johnson of Knoxville, TN and Rodney (Sheila) Johnson of Mishawaka; former daughter-in-law, Cindy Bradford of Fort Wayne; brothers, Edward (Barbara) Dunlap of Greentown and Kenneth (Betty) Dunlap of Ft. Myers, FL; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 10:30 Tuesday December 4, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy.
