Ruth Ragle
February 11, 1929 - September 29, 2017

SOUTH BEND - Ruth Ragle, 88, passed away peacefully Sept. 29, 2017 in South Bend. She was born to the late Lee and Laney (Chandler) O''Neal, February 11, 1929 in Clines Island, MO. Ruth was married to Kenneth Leondle Ragle, Sr. on October 24, 1946 until his passing on July 9, 1996.
Ruth loved to laugh, was spunky, and dedicated to her family. She was a creative quilter and enjoyed flower & vegetable gardening, fishing, & was a big Cubs fan. She was also a member of the Women''s Group at South Bend Brethren Church. While there, she assisted with coordinating funeral meals to offer comfort to families after experiencing a loss.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Vickie) Ragle of Niles, MI and Thomas (Wanda) Ragle of VA; daughter, Sheila (Barry) Naragon of South Bend, 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers, James, Earl, Floyd, and William O''Neal, and sisters Gelena Sullivan, Virginia Hoskey, Velma O''Neal, and Thelma Parrott.
Visitation for Ms. Ragle will be 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tues., Oct. 3, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 McKinley Hwy in Osceola. Funeral service will be held at Chapel Hill on Wed., Oct. 4, 2017 at 10:00 am. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
