Ruth F. Walker, 67, of South Bend died Monday April 25, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. Born in Peru, Indiana on September 30, 1943, to Harold and Agnes Caroline (Steele) Orpurt. She was employed in the cafeteria at Riley High School and enjoyed painting, reading and camping. Survivors include her husband, George Walker; sons, Eric (Tina) Walker and Bubba Hill; daughters, Bootsie (Larry) Grant, Shannon (Bryce) Grant, Jerri Lynn Steele, Glenna Faye, Becky Hill and Tracy Hill; step-son, George Walker, Jr., step-daughter, Jerry Walker and eleven grandchildren.
