April 4, 1935 - June 21, 2017
CULVER - Ruth Whitesell, 82, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away after a long illness Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Millers Merry Manor of Culver. Ruth was born on April 4, 1935 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Clay and Emily (Blackburn) Strasser. She was a long time member of Northway Church of Christ in South Bend. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Brenda Krempetz, Darlene McIntee, and Nancy (Richard) Michael; son, Jim (Donna) Wenzel; grandchildren, Rachael Miller, Elisabeth (Jessy) Espinola, Emily Michael, Shara Arrington, Scott Wenzel, and Brandy (Brad) Ebert; great-grandchildren, Michael Ebert, Makayla Ebert, and, Lakai Morgan, and her sister, Mary Papczynski. Ruth was preceded in death by her grandson, Sean McIntee.
In accordance with Ruth''s wishes there will be no public services. The following is in remembrance of Ruth, Corinthians 5:8, We are confident; I say and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the lord.
