Sally A. Griffin, 66, of Elkhart, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Elkhart General Hospital. The Elkhart native was born on December 31, 1944 to Merrill J. & Cleo (Hapner) Shellenberger, who both preceded Sally in death. Sally was a member of Osolo Missionary Church, she enjoyed bowling & puzzles and especially liked the summer months, camping and being outdoors. Sally is survived by her husband of 37 years, Allan Griffin; daughters, Pam Cudney of Elkhart, Pat Taylor of Avon and Michelle (David) Harris of Coweta, OK; her son, Michael Bailey of Elkhart; sister, Marilyn (Donald) Chason of Bristol; grandchildren, Sara Jonker of Bristol, Lisa (Jesse) Scarborough of Brooksville, FL, Jeremy Cudney of Elkhart, Gracie Cudney of Elkhart, Bart Taylor, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, Adam Taylor of Indianapolis, Brittney Taylor of Avon, Brian Bailey of Elkhart, Amber (Josh) Tapia of Elkhart and Amanda Bailey of Elkhart; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Charles, Jonathan, Timothy, Dominique, Zackery, Kilee, Erionna, Emily, Cameron and Hannah. Funeral Services 10:00 Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8pm in the funeral home. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorial is the American Heart Association.
