Samuel Wing Mook, 33, of Mishawaka, passed away at 5:52 pm, Tuesday, October 11, 2011 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Sam was born on June 13, 1978, the son of Henry K. Mook and Chong Sue Davis.
Sam, Mishawaka''s #1 Cubs Fan, was one of the top ten finalists in a contest to sing the national anthem in Wrigley Field. Locally, he worked for Press Gainey as an account manager. He also loved to golf and fish in his spare time.
Sam is survived by his father, Henry (Patti) Mook of Bolingbrook, IL, mother, Sue (Tim) Davis of Mishawka, two brothers, Daniel and Andrew Davis, both of Mishawaka and two sisters, Brandi (Steve) Meives of New Palestine, IN Kourtney Kumpf of Greenwood, IN. He is also survived by maternal grandmother, Young Ae Park of Granger and paternal grandmother, Ruby Eberle of Brazil, IN as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Joung Foo Lee and Robert (Ruth) Davis and paternal grandparents, Henry Wing Mook and Alice (Lowell) Cooper.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 15, 2011 in the funeral home.
