Sandra K. Schiele, 69, of Niles, died Monday, May 18, 2015. The South Bend native was born September 13, 1945 to Hubert O. & Minnie L. (Petrie) Cates, who have both preceded her in death. She retired from Notre Dame in Alumni Files after 24 years there; she enjoyed crochet & cooking, playing video games and spending time with her family & grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her son, Roger (Stephanie) Schiele and her grandchildren, Zachary & Alexander Schiele, all of Mishawaka. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 5-8pm in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Interment at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
