Sandra "Sue" Delchambre, age 70, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her home. Sue was born December 12, 1943 in South Bend, Indiana. Sue attended Mishawaka High School, and was employed for over 30 years as a press operator at Nyloncraft Inc. in Mishawaka before her retirement in 2010.
Surviving are her daughters, Gwendolyn VanDriessche and Denise M. (Larry) Long, both of South Bend. Also surviving are her brothers, Tom (Linda) Watson of Fishers, Indiana and Denzil "DJ" (Becky) Watson of Plymouth, Indiana. Surviving as well are 5 grandsons; Jeff Delchambre, Ryan Long, Larry Long, Mitchell Long and Adam Long. Preceding her in death was her father, Denzil Watson, her mother Edna (Miller) Wireman and her son in law, Paul VanDriessche.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Saturday, February 22, 2104 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Sue and her mother were very close. She enjoyed spending time with her mother before she passed away, and enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandsons.
