Sang Pyong Brooks, 83, of Sebring, Florida & Elkhart, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025. She was born on January 24, 1942, in Korea, to parents who have preceded her in death.

Sang's life was marked by her deep love and devotion to those around her, especially her beloved husband, Donald Brooks, whom she married in 1965. A woman of boundless energy, Sang was talkative, loving, and hardworking. She had a passion for gardening and found joy in nurturing plants, often tending to her own garden and lovingly weeding her neighbors' flower beds. Her caring nature extended to everyone she met, and she made an indelible mark on the hearts of those she encountered with her warmth and compassion.

She was always on the move, always helping, always worried about her husband Don, whom she cared for with devotion. Whether offering a listening ear or lending a hand, Sang was known for her willingness to do whatever it took to make the lives of others easier. Her love for life and her selflessness left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to know her.

Sang is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Brooks, and two nephews in Korea. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit lives on in the memories she has left behind.

A visitation to celebrate Sang's life will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sang's honor to a charity that supports gardening programs or community service efforts.
