Sarah L. Benson, age 58 of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Sarah was born September 11, 1953 in South Bend to the late William "James" and Irene (Miltroka) Clemens. On November 27, 2007, Sarah married Daniel Benson in Mishawaka.
Dan survives, along with her children, Angela Andrews of Mishawaka, Robert Quick or Arkansas, Deborah Straub and Dawn Clemens, all of Mishawaka, Michelle Moore of South Bend, and step daughters Sascha Elkins and Carolann Benson, both of South Bend. Sarah is also survived by her brother Ron of Goshen, 22 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
The family will gather at 2pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Twin Branch Park where a memorial will be held in her honor. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Sarah was a homemaker who enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild, and collecting porcelain dolls.
