Sarah "Liz" E. Murray, 91, passed away at 4:29pm on Friday, April 24, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Liz was born on January 6, 1929, in Sullivan County, Tennessee to the late Cloyed and Nanny (Smith) Rhymer.  On November 16, 1962, Liz married Glen Murray and he passed away on July 25, 1997.  Liz was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren.

Liz is survived by her son Claude L. (Pat) Sluder; step-daughter, Diana E. Murray; 5 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Liz retired from Phillips Industry.  She was a member of the Elkhart Grace Brethren Church.

Family and friends may gather outside of Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 3pm on Monday, April 27, 2020 for a Funeral Service.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
