Robert Scott "Scottie" Tschida, 33, of Elkhart, died Sunday August 16, 2020. Scott was born in South Bend on August 5, 1987, the son of Robert J. Tschida and Betty (Matlock) Tschida Carlisle. He was employed as a supervisor at Cleer Vision Windows in Elkhart. Scott was known for his wonderful sense of humor; He was nicknamed by some of his friends as "The Leprechaun" due to his keen ability to mimic the movie character of the same name.  He was also known for his genuine kindness & willingness to always help others. Scott loved his family & friends, and he was always ready for a video game. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Betty & Tim Carlisle of Mottville MI; his father, Robert J. Tschida of Mishawaka; sisters, Stacy Tschida and Cheryl (Justin Zook) Tschida, both of Elkhart; grandfather, Lester Matlock of South Bend; uncles, Bruce (Dawn Keefer) Matlock of Elkhart and Henry Matlock of South Bend and his nieces & nephews, Julianna Padilla, Olivia Zook, Eli Muncie and Dakota Gonyon, all of Elkhart.
