Shari A. Stogsdill , 66, of Peru and formerly of Granger, died Friday December 7, 2018. The South Bend native was born December 18, 1951 to (the late) Ted and Patricia (Quarles) Karaszewski and graduated from Riley High School. Shari was an agent for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, landscaping, swimming and the time spent with family & friends, especially going out to lunch. Shari is survived by her husband, Roger D. Stogsdill; daughters, Angela Marie (Ryan) Betzner of Peru and Amy Lynn (Bill) Hayden of Jensen Beach FL; her grandchildren, Kirstin Jacobs, Ross Betzner and Eli Betzner; brothers, Daniel (Karen) Karaszewski of Carl Junction MO and Larry (Emily) Karaszewski of Los Angeles CA; sister, Debbie Bernhard of Mishawaka; a special nurse, Barb Dockery; best friends, Carla and Steve; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral Services 10:00 a.m. Wednesday December 12, 2018 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. A gathering for family and friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
