Sharon Louise Coca, 40, of White Pigeon, Michigan, passed away on December 06, 2024. Sharon was born on October 25, 1984, in White Pigeon, Michigan, to Gail Birky and Fred Dawson.
Sharon's life was defined by her boundless love, infectious humor, and compassionate nature. She was a devoted mother to six wonderful children—Baby Coca, Dezy Dawson, Dakota Coca, Daisy Coca, Makayla Coca, and Maiyaa Coca—whom she cherished deeply and raised with great love and care. Sharon was also a beloved sister, daughter, and friend, whose presence brightened the lives of everyone she met. Her ability to make others laugh, her nurturing heart, and her love of fun made her an unforgettable soul who touched many.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Arnold Lee and Nancy Barger, her sister, Lisa Henning, and her stepdad, Rob Birky, as well as her stepmom, Marie Dawson. Despite these losses, Sharon remained a strong and loving presence in the lives of her family, always ensuring they knew how deeply she cared for them.
Sharon is survived by her parents, Gail Birky, Fred Dawson and Carl Penley, her siblings: Stacy Collins (Rayvon), Jean House (Gene), and Michael Dawson (Heather), and grandchildren Bentley and Brooklyn. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories for her family and friends.
Sharon's warm spirit, sense of humor, and ability to bring joy to any situation will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her family takes comfort in knowing her love will continue to live on through her children and the memories she created with each of them.
A visitation will take place Friday, December 20, 2024, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola from 10am to 11 am. A funeral will immediately follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sharon's name.
