Sharon Rose Payne
March 28,1947 -February 05, 2024
In Loving Memory of Sharon. Sharon, aged 76, passed away on February 5th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Guy D. Harrington and Rosemarie Newton Vaughn; brothers Guy Harrington, Timothy Vaughn, Mark Harrington; and sister Diane Harrington.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years this April, Jerry, her loving children, daughter Christa Cook (Tim Arnett); her sons Jerry Payne (Kristina) and Joe Payne (Cristina); and daughter-in-law Susan Payne.
She was the heart of her family, always there with a kind word, a warm hug, and unwavering support. Sharon's love knew no bounds, and her family was the center of her universe. Her presence will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Joshua (Shannon), Jacob, Timothy (Kelsey), Melissa, (Dustin) Zachary (Arya), Anastasia (Devin) Brandon, Christopher, Dominick, and Adrianna. Sharon's great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Kinleigh, Ava, Jackson, Jesse, and Waylon (due in a few months), brought immeasurable joy to her life, and her love for them knew no bounds.
Sharon had a passion for the simple joys of life, whether it was camping in her home away from home, dancing or sharing a meal with family and friends. She had a heart as big as the outdoors she loved, and her zest for life was infectious.
Sharon's warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.
In honor of Sharon's life, a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16th at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your charity of choice in Sharon's memory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Forever in our hearts, Sharon will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
