Sharon Pick, 75, of Dade City FL and formerly of Elkhart, died Wednesday July 8, 2020 in Dade City. Sharon was born August 13, 1944 in Kalamazoo MI, the daughter of (the late) Ralph Miller, Sr. & Effie LaDonna (Stevens) Miller. Sharon married James A. Pick on March 20, 1970 in Elkhart; he preceded her in death in 2001 after 31 years of marriage. She retired from Pick's Canopy, a shop in Shipshewana that she & her husband owned for over 20 years. Sharon loved to collect, as well as create, dolls. She enjoyed visiting the various flea markets and she was also an avid NASCAR fan, always cheering on her favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson in number 48. Most importantly, Sharon was devoted to, and cherished the time spent with, family & friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Sharon was also preceded in death by her sister, Beth Looney. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Allen) Nielsen of Dundee FL; her son, Frank Pick of South Bend; grandchildren, Alex Folk of Dade City and Louis Kindle & Nicole Pick, both of Elkhart; great-grandchild, Genesis Pick in St. Petersburg FL; her brother, Ralph (Pamela) Miller, Jr. of Elkhart and her step-brother, Darrin Miller of Kendallville. Graveside Services 11:00 Thursday August 13, 2020 in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family has invited those attending to meet at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. on Thursday at 10:30. The preferred memorial is the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 CR 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
