Shelby Jean Miller

September 26, 1937 – February 07, 2024

Shelby Miller 86, of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on at Woodland Manor Nursing Home on February 07, 2024. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee to Sam and Bonnie (Johnson) Hill who preceded her in death. She was married on April 23, 1988 to DeWayne "Ike" Miller who passed on September 16, 2023.

Also preceding her in death was her daughter Cindy Eaton; brothers Elmer, JB, Donald, Phillip, and Arnold Hill;

She is survived by her daughter Judith Sampers of Elkhart; step-children Tina Stoltz and Chris Miller; grandchildren Blake Eaton, Brandon Davis, Shane Kristen, and Collin Sampers; sisters Geri (Doug) Clawson and Sylvia (Dayton) Hughes; and brother Kenneth Hill, Wayne (Scarlet) Hill, Dewey (Scharee) Hill of Johnson City, Tennessee and Roy (Barbara) Hill of Georgia.

Shelby and Ike enjoyed traveling country areas, and lived in Florida for several years. They, then moved to Shelby's family home and spent time with Shelby's brother and sisters. They moved back to Elkhart where their journey together had begun. She loved gardening, canning and cooking for anyone and everyone.  Most of all she loved her dear family.

A visitation for Shelby will be held on Thursday February 15, 2024 from 12:00 pm (noon) to 1:00 pm with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10766 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, Indiana 46561.
