Mishawaka – Sherry Ann Glassburn, 73, passed away on Saturday November 16, 2024.

Sherry was born on March 24, 1951, in Mishawaka, to the late Paul E. and Frances (Collins) Glassburn. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Blaike Glassburn and a brother Bill Glassburn.

Sherry graduated from Mishawaka High School.  She had formerly worked as a cook at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Sherry was a member of the Bremen Grace Fellowship Church. She loved the Chicago Cubs, (especially Cody Bellinger). She supported all Mishawaka High School sports and was a proud member of the Mishawaka Alumni. She also enjoyed her Tuesday and Friday breakfast clubs. She encouraged her son and grandchildren through many 4-H events. She especially enjoyed seeing her sisters on the first Thursdays every month. She was also a member of the Mishawaka Garden Club.

Sherry is survived by her son; Shawn Glassburn (Del Hershberger), grandsons; Alex Glassburn, Trevor Glassburn, sisters; Mary Doiron (Bill) of Wakarusa, Ann Dibble of Jones, Michigan, Penny Puzynski of Mishawaka, special cousin Paula Waters of South Bend and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 22nd from 3:00 PM till 7:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.  The family will also receive friends Saturday, November 23rd from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 PM with Reverend John Hueni officiating at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

A private committal service will be held later at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
