Sherry A. McClurken, 85, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away on July 3, 2024 at her home after an illness.  She was born on December 1227, 1938 in Mishawaka, IN, the daughter of Glenn J. Selner and Marian (Dawson) Selner Roberts.

Sherry is survived by her beloved black lab, Libby, and kitty, Mousie Grey Lea, stepdaughter; sister, Connie (Robert) Riddle, brother, Dennis (Sandra) Selner; sisters: Lucille Stickel, Margie Peterson and Ruby Vincent; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her special friends, Susan (Engel) Husen and Christine Engel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Glenn A. and Harold R. Selner.

At her request, there will be no services.  Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Elkhart County or the St. Joseph County Humane Society in her name.
