Sherry R. Stuck, 53, of Elkhart passed away at 2:57 pm, Sunday, June 21, 2009 after a battle with cancer. Sherry was born on November 18, 1955 in Elkhart to James B. and Geraldine Swoape. On December 9, 1977 in Elkhart, she married Steven Stuck.
She is survived by her husband, Steven of Elkhart, two children, Chris Stuck and Rebecca (Scott Coleman) Stuck, both of Elkhart, grandchild, Noah Coleman, mother, Geraldine Turner of Elkhart and brother, Charles Swoape of Chicago, IL. She is preceded in death by her father, James B. Swoape.
Sherry graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She worked in the business office at the Elkhart Truth for over 20 years. She will be remembered for her love of knitting.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Road, Mishawaka, with visitation held in the church from 9:00-10:30 am. Rev. Daniel Scheidt will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
