ST. CROIX - Sherry Lynn Young, 50, passed away September 30, 2017 in St. Croix, VI. She was born March 6, 1967 in Mishawaka, IN to Donald Young, Sr. and June Evelyn McCrum.
Sherry moved to St. Croix twelve years ago to enjoy her time on the beach year-round. She loved to travel, was always the life of the party, and was a very independent spirit. Sherry also adored her grandchildren and will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Sherry is survived by her son, Aaron Young of Mishawaka, IN; brothers, Carl (Nichol) Young of Nappanee, IN, Bill (Kelly) McCrum of Michigan City, IN, Donald (Rina) Young, Jr. of Mishawaka, IN, and Dallas McCrum, also of Mishawaka; sisters, Tammy (Chris) VanLue of Mishawaka, IN; mother, June Evelyn McCrum, and her grandchildren Wyatt Young and Jamie Hawkins. In addition to her father, Sherry was preceded in death by her sister, Jamie McCrum.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Greater Faith Fellowship Church located at 59132 Elm Road, Mishawaka, IN. Family will receive friends two hours prior to service time at the church.
