Shirley Annette Collins, 71, of Elkhart, entered into eternal rest on November 11, 2021. She was born on October 21, 1950 in Charleston, WV to the late Robert Benton and Clar Mae Smith. She loved bowling, scrapbooking, and shopping at Walmart. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and foreign exchange student host. She hosted a total of 36 foreign exchange students throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Colleen Turner and Mary Crook; and brothers, Chester and Robert Benton.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Arthur Lee Collins; sons, Douglas Brown and Arthur Leuane Collins; brothers, Johnny English and Larry Benton; sister, Chiquita Pearson; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a host of aunts and uncles; and many friends who she loved so dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. The Funeral Service will be private. Services have been entrusted to Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
