Mishawaka, IN - Shirley Grepke took the hand of Jesus and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2026, in Mishawaka, Indiana, at the age of 91.

Shirley was born on May 30, 1935, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, to the late Herman and Teresa (Schneider) Steinbock. She met the love of her life, Carl A. Grepke, and the two were married in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Together, they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage until his passing.

Shirley was also preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Steinbock; her sisters, Irmgard Seiler and Lorraine Watkins; and her son-in-law, Terry Moser.

Shirley is survived by her loving daughters, Denise Moser, Dawn (Jerry) Scanlin, and Janine (Nicky) Simonetti; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

Shirley devoted her life to her family and her Christian beliefs. She took great pride in raising her three daughters in a loving Christian home. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was an active member of the Osceola United Methodist Church, participating in the choir and cherishing the friendships she formed there.

In her free time, Shirley enjoyed traveling, working on puzzles, playing cards, and gardening. She loved watching the birds in her backyard and canning pickles to share with family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing, hunting, and snowmobiling. Above all, Shirley treasured the time she spent with her family and the many memories they created together.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Osceola United Methodist Church, 431 N. Beach Road, Osceola, IN 46561, in lieu of flowers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 11:30 a.m., all at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Indiana.

Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, where Shirley will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Mausoleum Building No. 2.

Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
