Shirley J. Szlanfucht, 75, of Osceola, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018.  She was born on November 21, 1942 in DeLong, Indiana to Charles and Beatrice (Majerus) Fastabend.  On July 20, 1963, Shirley married Jack Szlanfucht, and he survives.   She attended Osceola United Methodist Church and volunteered in various capacities at the church including Care Club.  Shirley enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting, and scrapbooking. Shirley was a wonderful homemaker who has returned to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but left behind many loved ones who will miss her dearly. Shirley is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack; her children, Michael Szlanfucht of Osceola, Dale (Patricia) Szlanfucht of Climax, MI, and David (Jennifer) Szlanfucht of Lee's Summit, MO; three grandchildren; her sister, Beverly Hummer of Osceola along with many nieces and nephews.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.  In honor of Shirley's wishes, a private cremation committal will take place.
