Shirley Lee West, 91, of South Bend, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2022. She was born on February 21, 1931 in Marion, IN. Shirley loved to go to the casino and was an avid racing fan. She enjoyed reading, sewing, doing crafts, and collecting angels.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Dale West; mother, Grace May; sons, Jerry and Doug West; and daughter, Victoria West.

Shirley is survived by her children, Dan (Mary) West, Terry (Sandy) West, and Karen (Kemper) Sutphin; daughters-in-law, Peggy and Frances West; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home,10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561. Burial will be held privately in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the West family to assist with funeral expenses.
