Stephen Michael Eugene Janiszewski found peace on February 17, 2023. He was the father of 5 children: Timothy Welch, Jaime (Gary) Lee, Caroline (John) Rochefort, Jessica (Aaron) Dome and Selena Janiszewski. With those children came 9 grandchildren: Briar-rose, Addison, Gabriel, Logan, Lainey, Xander, Vyper, Lillian and Lucille. He is also survived by his sister Joni (Dan) Flynn and brother Louis (Jeanne) Minnear and a step-father William Paul Minnear. Various nephews, nieces and cousins as well. Lastly, he is survived by his significant other, Toni Abney.

He was preceded in death by his special grandparents, Edward and Caroline Mikula, his mother Julianne Minnear, and a sister, Anna Minnear. Also, three special fur family members: Bubba the dog, and his two cats lil bit and Woof Woof.

Steve was raised the majority of the time by his grandparents, where he developed a love of animals, spending time outside fishing and watching the Cubs.

Steve had a treasured collection of various items to be passed down generations to continue to bring happiness and memories; such as, model cars and hotwheels, his mother's artwork and little gifts his kids and grandkids gave to him. He held all these things tight to his heart. In the last several months, he found great comfort being able to spend time with his granddaughters Lillian and Lucille.

Cremation has taken place, and a small private family get-together is next to come within the next several months. If you'd like to make a donation in his memory, please find a local animal shelter in your area. "Jesus, remember Steve when he comes into your kingdom." (Lk 23:42)
