Susan Michelle (Kavala) Boone, 63, of Elkhart, entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2021. She was born on February 9, 1958 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Clare Jane (Brown) D'Amico and Francis Ronald Kavala. She enjoyed bargain shopping, was a great cook, and loved spending time with her granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her step mother, Phyllis (Przepierski) Kavala.

Susan is survived by her husband, Ronald Wayne Boone; son, Brett Boone; daughters, Lacey (Gary) Carroll and Sarah (Hector) Gonzalez; granddaughters, Alexa Gonzalez and Madison Carroll; brothers, Terrance (Sheri) Kavala and Christopher (Lil) Kavala; 3 nephews; and 2 nieces.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
