Suzanne Bodenhorn, 46, of Elkhart, passed away on October 26, 2020 at home.  She was born on August 26, 1974 in Truckee, CA to Jerry B. and Mary A. (Newburg) Bodenhorn.

Suzanne is survived by two daughters: Jessica Marie Salvator of South Bend and Victoria Ann Salvator of San Diego, CA; a granddaughter, Michaela Ann Salvator; her parents, Jerry and Mary Bodenhorn of Elkhart; a sister, Carrie (Joseph Michael) Standlee, of South Bend; a niece, Gabriella Christine Standlee; 2 nephews, Connor Galen and Quinn Xavier Standlee; many other extended cherished relatives.

Suzanne served her country honorably in the U.S. Navy, earning the rank of BM SN before her discharge.  She was formerly employed with ADEC, where she participated in many volunteer opportunities.  She was a great Band Mom and Color Guard Coach to her girls when they were in school.  She adored her granddaughter and loved her nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed spending time with close family in the beauty of her parents' certified wildlife habitat backyard.  She liked spending time with her Pounders family in Escondido, CA.
