ELKHART, IN- Sylvia C. Swoverland, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on January 12, 2019.

She was born January 10, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late William and Constance E. Moore Watson. Sylvia was a graduate of Troy Etna High School. She married Tom Swoverland and with this happy union was blessed with 6 children. Sylvia retired from Durakool. She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, cooking, flower gardens, and feeding the birds.

Sylvia is survived by her sons, Charles Swoverland of Bristol, IN, Mark (Delilah) Swoverland of Elkhart, Timothy Swoverland of Elkhart, IN, Randy Swoverland of Elkhart, IN and John Swoverland of Elkhart, IN; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Julie Swoverland; grandson Josh Swoverland; 11 siblings, Ronald, Howard, Nora, Norman, Ellis, Mary Margaret, Constance, James, Olive, Evelyn, and Robert.
