T. Patricia Hutsell, age 72, of Elkhart, Indiana went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Mrs. Hutsell was born March 28, 1937 in Grandville, North Dakota to the late Delos A. and Kathrine F. (Richards) Wells. On March 16, 1958, she married Lowell T. Hutsell in Spokane, Washington. Pastor Lowell Hutsell preceded her in death, passing away in December of 2008.
Surviving is her son Mark Hutsell and his wife Lori of Elkhart, and her daughter Cindy Gearhart and her husband Kevin of Granger, Indiana. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Ashley and Christopher Gearhart, and Jordan, Andrea, and Meghan Hutsell. Patricia is also survived by four sisters and one brother. She was also preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm Friday, June 5, 2009 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Patricia was employed by the Selmer Corporation in Elkhart for several years and was a representative for Shaklee Products for nearly forty years. In addition to her sales position, she was employed by Hutsell Chiropractic for twenty-five years. She and her husband Lowell were Pastors and founders of the Harvest Ministries Church for the last five years, and were Pastors of Michiana Christian Community Church in South Bend for thirty years.
Patricia was a member of the International Ministerial Association for many years. She expressed her love for the Lord daily to those she met along her journey. She enjoyed helping those less fortunate, and was heavily involved in Missions and Missionary support. She was loved by all and many people "adopted her" and referred to her as "Momma." Patricia also enjoyed spending time playing games with her grandchildren, playing the piano, and the organ.
